A friend and I showed up at the Hollywood & Highland Center and blew bubbles for about half an hour. Admittedly I got lost (thought there was a way in through The Gap), so it wasn't precisely 6pm. I thought I caught a glimpse of a bubble on my way in, but I didn't find anybody when I got upstairs. So we just started blowing from different places on the balcony. A little later I saw a red-headed woman with a ponytail blowing below us near the Guess store, but we weren't able to connect with her. Funniest thing was that most folks didn't seem to notice the bubbles at all - even when they got hit with them! The only ones who looked up were some small children (with those big "Ooooo!" expressions they get) and a couple of cops (who were just bemused). I took a couple of pictures with my phone, but I don't have a way to get them *out* of the phone. For dessert we frolicked at Grauman's (my feet fit Whoopi's perfectly!) and saw "Terminator Salvation" (proof that we should try another recall election and make the CGI Arnold governor).
